Rock in good hands

A young glam rock band. Loads of hair and Spandex on display., and the giant bottle of jack Daniels that they share with the audience is a nice touch, well appreciated by the fans. They have a great upbeat sound reminiscent of bon Jovi,. GnR and others. Well worth a watch.

Glam Rock? Shit stain more lik

Wandering into the Trailblazer tent to the strains of a Black crows number (Too hot to handle) I thought this might be a surprising addition to the Sunday lineup. Sadly, this turned into a crap Oasis tribute act, who likely came together as a band just a few weeks before, with only a couple of rehearsals … I think even my own farts were more melodic than this festering pile of donkey droppings!

Drunken Rock n Roll!

Charlie, Tunk, Oi and their 2 new guitarists hit the CotW stage on Sunday for their second appearance at this awesome festival. Charlie prowled the stage as well as the side lighting/sound rigs and delivered a fkin excellent Rock n Roll masterclass to the backdrop of a slightly bass-heavy band. Crown favourites such as B.M.F. and Anxiety Society. Barely pausing to wipe himself with a Spice Girls (!) towel he threw his heart (and lungs) into every song, ending with Ace of Spades. Cheers 🍻

Banging!

I saw this band do an acoustic set at Springfest earlier this year. But to see them on stage doing what they know how to do was simply awesome! I loved it and loved the lead singer hanging out with everybody in the beer tent. Proper rock star!

Posh tottie Rock n Roll

Norfolk rockers Jehenna hit the trailblazer stage for some good ‘ol 5-piece rock n roll… Some good tunes and a tight rhythm section here… but very clearly super posh …. I think I was overdressed in black and a band T !!

Royal Republic Ignite COTW

The Royal Republic set at COTW was a real high point. Joyful, fun, razor sharp and impossible not to get swept away with. As someone who sees a lot of live music, it’s great to see them completely lock onto the crowd and their energy and return it ten fold. Their musical skill, energy, theatrics and delivery were spot on. The crowd anticipation palpable from the first song. Everyone dancing, singing and smiling 100% committed to these goys and what they were bringing..

Big Iron = Big Noise

Smashing set with the fantastic Big Iron - wonderful to see that last year in the bar tent, but mind-blowing performance on the big stage. It may have been the first time on such a big stage, but it most certainly will not be the last!!!

A wall of noise from Germany! New fan here - what a power house!

Gothic punk

Gothic punk meets rock and roll, with a horror theme thrown in.. The lost girls give the band a theatrical element. They'll have you bouncing around the gig

Fucking smashed this set!

Black Lakes get better and better every time I see them. I first saw them at the Tivoli when they were just starting out and they asked for the audience to keep coming to their gig because they promised to keep getting better. They did not lie! Pure brilliance and I cannot wait to see what they do next!
